Drug Dealer ‘Monty’ Nabbed with Crack and Heroin in Major Bust

Big-time drug dealer Bilaal Farah, known as ‘Monty’, has been slammed with a lengthy prison sentence after running a ruthless crack cocaine and heroin network across Kent and London.

Texts Flooded with Offers to Sell Heroin and Crack

Between January and April 2021, Farah controlled the notorious ‘Monty’ line, bombarding users with texts trying to flog heroin and crack cocaine. Farah didn’t just deal himself – he bossed others to deliver the deadly drugs to customers on the street.

Cops Crack Down After Arrests and Phone Evidence

  • Two men caught in Chatham on 9 April with 130 wraps of crack and 75 heroin deals.
  • Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs team confirmed the pair worked directly for Farah through phone data.
  • On 20 May, a search at Farah’s Woolwich home found 43 wraps hidden under clothes – with his DNA on them.

Farah Caught, Cash Seized, and Sent Down for Nearly Four Years

Farah evaded arrest initially but was finally tracked down and arrested in south-east London on 18 January 2022. Police also seized £2,000 in cash, believed to be from drug profits.

The 22-year-old pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and was sentenced on 21 October to three years and nine months behind bars.

“Farah had a significant role in co-ordinating class A drug supply, with others working on his behalf. He thought he was untouchable because he kept his hands clean, but our phone investigations proved otherwise. He’s rightly now behind bars,” said PC Ben Shove.
