Drug Dealer Behind Bars for Peddling Heroin and Crack in Dover
A notorious drug dealer has been locked up after flooding Dover’s streets with heroin and crack cocaine.
Stow Busted in Major Crackdown
Garry Stow, 51, was snared during a joint Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate probe into local drug rings. The dealer, who used to live on The Fairway in Deal, was arrested in February 2020.
Six Counts of Class A Drug Supply
During the investigation, Stow faced six charges for selling class A drugs between September and October 2019. He admitted every single count at Canterbury Crown Court on 20 April 2020.
Five Years and Seven Months Behind Bars
Just days later, on 23 April, Stow was sentenced to five years and seven months in prison.
“Dealers like Stow bring misery to drug users, their families and the communities they live in,” said Detective Constable Chris Weatherstone, who led the probe. “I’m pleased we’ve taken him off Dover’s streets for a long time. This sentence shows drug dealing won’t be tolerated in Kent.”
