Man Charged with Murder After Llandaff Incident

A 23-year-old man was found injured at a Chapel Street address at 11.30am on Sunday, December 24. Dylan Thomas, also 23 and from Llandaff, has been charged with murder and is now in custody. His court date is yet to be set.

Victim’s Family Informed, Police Maintain Heavy Presence

Although formal identification is pending, the victim’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers. Detective Chief Inspector Matt Davies said:

“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family who continue to be updated and supported by family liaison officers. Police cordons remain in place in Llandaff, including the High Street car park, while enquiries continue. Cordons will be lifted at the earliest opportunity. Anyone needing access to vehicles in the car park should speak to officers on scene for access. The support and understanding of the local community are very much appreciated.”
