Liverpool Rapist Jailed for Over Nine Years

Hameed Naderi, 30, from Grenville Street South in Liverpool city centre, has been sentenced to nine and a half years behind bars at Liverpool Crown Court after pleading guilty to rape.

Harsh Penalties and Lifetime Restrictions

The judge also imposed an extended licence (probation) for five years, a deportation order, and lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order conditions on Naderi.

Gruesome Attack in Concert Square

The court heard how on Saturday 29th February 2020, a woman in her 20s was out drinking with friends in Concert Square. She later woke up to find Naderi raping her. Despite her desperate pleas to stop, he continued his assault.

In sentencing, the judge described the crime as a prolonged attack and stated he believed the defendant had abducted the victim.

“I would like to praise the courage and dignity shown by the victim throughout the investigation,” said Detective Inspector Leanne Toole. “This case proves violence against women and girls will not be tolerated. We will work tirelessly to bring offenders to justice.”
