Just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, a man stormed into a shop on Valley Drive, grabbed cash from the till, and made a quick getaway.

Thanks to a sharp-eyed Police Community Support Officer, the suspect was found hiding in an alleyway near Parrock Avenue shortly after the robbery.

Liam Lunt Brought to Justice

The 23-year-old from Windmill Street, Gravesend, was charged with robbery the very next day. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on January 14 and has been remanded to Woolwich Crown Court with a hearing set for January 31.
