Essex police are urgently hunting witnesses after a serious collision rocked Colchester just after 2.15am this Sunday (29 August).
Pedestrian Struck by Grey Ford Kuga
The crash happened at the corner of Barrack Street and Challenge Way involving a teenage pedestrian and a grey Ford Kuga.
The teen suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. Police are supporting the family during this distressing time.
Driver Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
A 34-year-old local man behind the wheel of the Ford Kuga was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody for questioning.
