Drug Dealer Nabbed After Early Morning Raid in East Ham
Kent Police and the Met swooped on a property in East Ham at 5.45am on Tuesday, 15 September 2020. The prime suspect wasn’t inside when the officers stormed the address. But he didn’t get far. Moments later, a suspicious car nearby was stopped, and the driver was arrested on the spot.
Cash and Phones Seized in Sting
Officers recovered mobile phones and large sums of cash from the vehicle, hinting at a busy drug operation.
Sharmache Jama Busted on Serious Drug Charges
Sharmache Jama, 28, from Melford Road, London, was arrested and later charged with dealing heroin and crack cocaine. He was remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 16 September.
Police Crack Down on County Lines Drug Supply
Superintendent Mike Worrall, Kent Police, said: “This search warrant targeted a suspected county line operation supplying Class A drugs to vulnerable people in east Kent. This arrest is a direct result of strong collaboration between Kent Police, the Met, and other forces.”
