Burglar Busted After Raids on Whitstable High Street
Kent Police swooped in after a break-in at a commercial property on Whitstable High Street in the early hours of Wednesday, 16 November 2022. Officers arrived to find the premises smashed and ransacked.
Jayden Holman Charged with Multiple Thefts
Jayden Holman, 20, homeless and caught in the act, was charged the next day. His crime spree includes:
- Burglary with intent to steal on Whitstable High Street (16 November)
- Burglary of alcohol and cash from a business on Sea Wall, Whitstable (13 November)
- Attempted bicycle theft in Canterbury (9 November)
- Possession of a bladed article in a public place
- Going equipped for theft—all offences in Canterbury on 9 November
Remanded in Custody, Court Date Set
Holman was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 17 November.
