Hackney Teen Locked Up for Law-Breaking Spree
Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, 19, from Manor Road, Hackney, has been handed 18 weeks in a young offenders institute for a breach on May 24. He also received 14 weeks for an offence committed on or before July 7. Both sentences will run concurrently.
Strict Orders Clamp Down on O’Garro
On top of his detention, O’Garro must pay a £154 victim surcharge. He’s slapped with a two-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) until November 2025. The order bans him from trespassing on private property or entering London’s E20 postcode—unless it’s for arranged child contact or public transport access.
He’s also barred from sharing any video footage on social media, either solo or with others, and cannot contribute to any account other than his own.
Top Cop Delivers a Stark Warning
DCI Yasmin Lalani, Central East Command, said: “This is an appropriate outcome. Disregard for the law can’t be tolerated. I hope O’Garro gets the help he needs.”
“This sends a loud, clear message: nobody is above the law and everyone must be held accountable.”
“The community were rightly upset by his disrespect for the law and the distress he caused—from the very young to the elderly.”
“My thanks to District Crown Prosecutor Varinder Hayre, whose dedication alongside the police made this result possible.”
