Stabbed after shouting match
A violent offender has been locked up for ten years after stabbing a man during a late-night row in Folkestone. Loui Allman, 33, exploded into a verbal tirade on August 21, 2021, shouting abuse at a group while walking down 1 Road towards the town centre.
When one of the men challenged him, Allman pulled a knife and stabbed him twice in the side. The victim, a man in his twenties, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance after the blade pierced his lung.
Quick getaway fails
Allman fled the scene but was caught by kent/" title="Kent">Kent Police later that day. Facing court, he pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and carrying a knife. At 1 Crown Court on July 15, 2022, he was handed a hefty sentence – six years in prison before parole, totalling ten years behind bars.
Police: ‘Dangerous offender off the streets’
“Members of the public should feel free to walk the streets of Kent without being verbally abused and attacked by the likes of Loui Allman,” said PC Damien Dixon.
“He had no reason to pick a fight or carry a knife, let alone use it so recklessly. Allman has proven to be a very dangerous individual, as shown by the lengthy sentence he now faces.”
