Motorcycle Rider Killed in Shocking Van Collision on London Road

Tragedy struck on Tuesday afternoon when a white Mercedes Sprinter van crashed into a BMW motorcycle on London Road, Albourne, near Arden Grange. The smash happened around 12.30pm.

61-Year-Old Biker Dies at Scene

The motorcycle rider, a 61-year-old man from East Grinstead, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed of the devastating news.

Van Driver Arrested and Then Released on Bail

The van driver, a 42-year-old man from Whyteleafe, Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released on unconditional bail while investigations continue.
