Detectives Release CCTV in Shocking Thornton Heath Murder

Police hunting Kelly Mary Fauvrelle’s killer have released CCTV footage of a mystery man seen near her home just before the tragic stabbing. The footage shows the man walking towards Kelly’s address at around 3:15am, then dashing away less than 15 minutes later.

Man Caught on Camera Before and After Murder

The figure is seen running along Raymead Avenue toward Colliers Water Lane, shortly after Kelly was attacked. Detectives say identifying this man is vital, whether to help or rule him out. “We need to hear from anyone who knows who he is urgently,” said Detective Chief Inspector Mick Norman.

Tragic Murder of Pregnant Kelly Shocks Community

Kelly, 26 and eight months pregnant, was found with stab wounds at her home in Thornton Heath in the early hours of 29 June. Paramedics tried to save her, but she died at the scene.

Her baby boy, named Riley by the family, was delivered at the scene but sadly also passed away in hospital.

Suspects Released, Police Still Searching for Answers

Two men arrested on suspicion of murder have been released with no further action or bailed pending further inquiries. But DCI Norman confirmed the investigation is ongoing and appeals for witnesses or relevant footage remain crucial.

“We are doing everything possible to find the person responsible. We must keep an open mind about who might have done this,” said Norman.
