Holocaust Deniers’ Alison Chabloz Jailed for Offensive Broadcasts
Alison Chabloz, 56, was locked up for 18 weeks after broadcasting offensive anti-Semitic messages in 2019. The former suspended offender broke her court-ordered conditions by sharing the vile content online.
Guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court
On Wednesday 31 March, Chabloz was found guilty of sending offensive and menacing messages via a public communication network. The charges fell under the Communications Act 2003.
Police Hit Back at Hate Speech
“Alison Chabloz, in full knowledge of the conditions that had been imposed for her previous offending, deliberately set out to cause serious offence and concern, in particular to the Jewish community,” said DC Chris Reed, lead investigator.
“Her disregard for those conditions, and for the impact she knew her words would have, have rightly seen her jailed.”
“This case should show everyone, whether offender or victim, that as a force we take this type of offending seriously and will seek to bring those responsible to justice.”
