Man Stabbed in E17 Horror Attack

A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital with life-threatening stab wounds after a brutal attack on Brandon Road, E17, on Wednesday evening. Police were called at 6.01pm to the scene where the victim was found injured in the back and arm.

He remains in critical condition. His family has been informed and specialist officers from the Met’s Crime Command are supporting them.

Two Teenagers Also Injured and Arrested

Nearby on Stocksfield Road, two 18-year-old men were found with stab wounds. Their injuries are not life-threatening, but both were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

On Saturday, 25 February, one of the teens, Jason Adinkra from Edmonton, was charged with attempted murder. He is due in court on Monday, 27 February. The other injured man remains in hospital and will be taken into custody once discharged.

Attack Linked to Group Fight

Police believe the stabbing followed a fight between the victim and a group of men near the car park on Stocksfield Road, close to Brandon Road.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers said: “This attack left a man seriously injured in hospital and we are doing all we can to track down those responsible. This charge is a significant step in our investigation, but enquiries continue. We urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.”
