Man Smacked with Baseball Bat in Morning Attack on Marine Drive
Early on Thursday, 23 December 2021, a brutal assault shocked Marine Drive. At around 7am, two men exchanged words before one suddenly swung a baseball bat, striking the other on the head. The victim suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police Hunt Mystery Attacker
The suspect is described as a white male, about 50 years old, roughly 5ft 7in tall, and slim. Witnesses say he was wearing a cap at the time of the attack.
