Police rushed to the scene at 2:35am on Saturday, 19 November, after reports of a stabbing at the busy junction of Lion Road and Bexleyheath Broadway.

Victim Rushed to Hospital with Serious But Non-Life-Threatening Injury

A man in his 30s was found with a stab wound to his leg. Emergency crews from the London Ambulance Service took him to hospital where his injury was later deemed not life-threatening.

Two Men Arrested as Police Probe Brutal Night-Time Attack

Officers arrested two men, aged 24 and 25, on suspicion of wounding with intent. Both have been released on bail pending further inquiries due in 2023.

Detective Pleads for Witnesses Amidst Crowded Nightlife Spot

Detective Inspector Andrew Gattase said: “This terrible act of violence happened at a time when there were many people in nearby bars and clubs. We have already spoken to a number of witnesses but are keen to hear from anyone else who witnessed the incident.”
