Man Charged Over Fatal Dagenham Stabbing
Detectives have charged a man following the deadly stabbing of a 49-year-old in Dagenham. Viorel Stefan, 59, from Marlborough Road, has been charged with the murder of Viorel Stefan, aged 49.
Additional Charge for GBH Against Woman
Vasile Firanda Firanda also faces a charge of grievous bodily harm (GBH) involving a 55-year-old woman. He is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 16 December.
Fatal Stabbing in Marlborough Road
Police were alerted by London Ambulance Service at 10:10pm on Saturday, 14 December, after reports of a stabbing at a Marlborough Road residence. Emergency crews found Mr Stefan with life-threatening injuries.
Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:39pm.
