Colchester Horror: Two Arrested Over Murder on Greenstead Estate
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in Colchester. He remains in police custody as detectives continue their questioning.
Tragedy Strikes Affleck Road
Emergency services were called to Affleck Road on the Greenstead estate just after 12:15am on Friday, 11 December. A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. A teenager found at the property suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Multiple Arrests as Police Crack Down
- A 25-year-old local man was also arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remains in custody.
- A 20-year-old woman, initially arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers urge anyone who heard disturbances late on Thursday, 10 December, or early on Friday morning to come forward. They want to hear about any suspicious activity linked to the case.
