Teen Rape Horror Rocks Upton
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped between 3pm and 7pm on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Upton. The victim was at The Crossways when a boy she knew approached her. They then walked together to Upton Country Park.
Attack Reported Near Woodland Off Ropers Lane

17-Year-Old Boy Arrested and Released on Bail
A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of rape. He has since been released on police bail with strict conditions as investigations continue.
“Specialist officers are supporting the victim in this case and we are carrying out a full and detailed investigation,” said Detective Sergeant Mark Fursman of Dorset Police’s Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT).
“I urge anyone with information to come forward, especially residents with CCTV around The Crossways, Poole Road, and Ropers Lane during the relevant timeframe.”
“Although the two involved knew each other, we understand this will deeply concern the community. We are supporting the victim and family, and local officers will increase patrols.”
