Dr Gillian Tully’s Crime-Busting Career Shines
The Forensic Science Regulator, Dr Gillian Tully, has been named in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours, announced on Saturday 10 October. The list applauds individuals across the UK who’ve made remarkable contributions to society.
With over 30 years in forensic science, Dr Tully is a DNA and quality standards expert. She’s provided critical court evidence both in the UK and abroad and worked closely with forensic experts worldwide.
Champion for Justice and Quality Standards
Since becoming the Forensic Science Regulator in November 2014, Dr Tully has pushed hard for tougher quality controls and statutory powers to boost forensic science reliability nationwide.
