Blue Eyes gang busted and behind bars after massive Kent drug haul
Kent’s Blue Eyes gang smashed by detectives
Detectives have smashed the notorious “Blue Eyes” gang behind a huge drug ring across north and west Kent. Most of the gang are now locked up.
Set up in 2019 by Jamie Bennett, this outfit pushed cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, and more. They used stolen cars with fake number plates to ferry their drugs around Kent and south London.
Undercover ops and raids bring gang to justice
Police tracked phone numbers used by gang dealers from 2020 onwards, snapping up several with drugs on them. Bennett was caught three times. A raid on his home with partner Sinead Taylor uncovered nearly 5,000 MDMA pills, thousands of other tablets, £5,600 cash, cocaine, ketamine, and two stolen cars.
With help from the Met Police, officers rounded up the rest, many found driving stolen vehicles loaded with drugs.
Gang members dragged in from across Kent
- Jeffrey Reeves and Levi Taylor (Orpington)
- Joe Raven (Gravesend and Dartford)
- Shakai Wilson (Bromley)
- Jamie Turner (Wainscott)
Further phone checks nailed Sinead Taylor and Maisey Barrett, who were also arrested.
Heavy sentences handed down at Croydon Crown
Eight gang members faced conspiracy charges for supplying a cocktail of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, ketamine, and Class C drugs. Bennett was also charged with handling stolen goods. Some pleaded not guilty but were convicted at trial. Sinead Taylor admitted money laundering and being part of the crime group.
On 27 and 28 February 2025, sentences were delivered:
- Jamie Bennett, 36, Orpington – 8 years 3 months
- Jamie Turner, 27, Orpington – 3 years 8 months

- Sinead Taylor, 31, no fixed address – suspended sentence
Police praise relentless effort to nail gang
“This organised gang, led by Bennett, supplied large amounts of drugs to some of the most vulnerable,” said Detective Constable John Carless. “They thought they could hide behind stolen cars and false plates. But their arrogance was their undoing. Once we caught a glimpse, we chased every lead to bring the whole gang down.” “Kent Police urge anyone with drug suspicions to come forward. We’re determined to wipe out organised crime here.”
