Teen Charged with Murder After Fatal Islington Stabbing

17-Year-Old Arrested Following Deadly Fight

Detectives have charged a 17-year-old boy with murder after a fatal stabbing in Islington. The teen was charged on Tuesday, 12 December, and is set to appear at Highbury Youth Court on Wednesday, 13 December.

Victim Dies After Stabbing in Tufnell Park Road

Police were called at 7:27pm on Monday, 11 December to reports of a fight on Tufnell Park Road, N7. Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.

A 21-year-old man suffered stab wounds and was rushed to hospital but sadly later died.

Victim Believed to Be Local Man, Family Informed

The man is believed to be Mohamed Abdi-Noor, a local resident from Islington, although formal identification is still pending. His family have been informed and are receiving support from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the attack is urged to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 6283/11Dec.
