Drugs bust in Folkestone as cops swoop on Castle Street stash.

Class A haul seized in dawn raid

Officers raided a property on Castle Street on Monday, 29 April 2024, uncovering a haul of class A drugs thought to be heroin and cocaine. Alongside the drugs, they confiscated mobile phones and cash.

Five arrested on the spot

Two men and three teenage boys were arrested at the scene. The investigation quickly pointed detectives towards connections with county lines drug operations.

County lines charge for 18-year-old

On Tuesday, Kent Police’s County Lines Team charged 18-year-old Reece Nuttal from Broomfield Road, Folkestone. He faces two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and charges of criminal damage.

Nuttal was due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 30 April.

Youth suspects bailed, one held in custody

The three teenagers arrested in connection with the drugs probe have been released on bail, pending further enquiries. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man remains in police custody as investigations continue.
