Four Teens Stabbed in Late-Night Knife Attack in Kennington
Four teenagers ended up in hospital following a violent stabbing on John Ruskin Street, Kennington, just before midnight on Saturday, July 29.
Police and Ambulance Rush to Scene
Officers arrived quickly after reports of a fight. The London Ambulance Service also attended. Two boys, aged 16 and 18, were found with stab wounds and rushed to hospital. Luckily, their injuries are not life-threatening.
Minutes later, two more teens, aged 15 and 16, arrived at hospital with stab wounds. Their injuries are also serious but not life-threatening.
15-Year-Old Arrested Then Released on Bail
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with the attack. He has since been released on bail. His court date is set for late October.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11.59 pm on Saturday, 29 July, to reports of a fight off John Ruskin Street, SE5. Officers and the London Ambulance Service found a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man with stab injuries. Neither is believed to have life-threatening injuries.”
