A former taxi driver from Leeds has been slammed behind bars after police uncovered a “sickening” trove of child abuse images and spy footage of a woman caught using the toilet.
Police Raid Exposes Horrific Crimes
Rehan Farooq, 37, was caught red-handed after an April police raid at his home revealed hundreds of indecent images. Officers also found chilling chat logs where Farooq swapped vile fantasies about raping and murdering children and women with fellow offenders.
Farooq denied the crimes, blaming drug use, but a second raid in October uncovered even more horrors. Investigators found hidden camera footage of a woman in private moments — in the shower and toilet — which Farooq had shared online.

Farooq, already serving a suspended sentence for dangerous driving, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, making indecent images of children, and possessing extreme pornography.
Jailed for 40 Months with Lifetime Sex Offender Restrictions
He was handed 40 months behind bars. On release, Farooq will be on the sex offenders’ register for life with a lifelong internet ban to stop any chance of online offending.
