Man Stabbed in Woolwich – Suspect Arrested
Drama unfolded at around 11am on Tuesday, 21 March, when police were called to Elmdene Road, Woolwich SE18, following reports of a stabbing.
Victim Found Bleeding on Street
Officers and London Ambulance Service arrived to find a man in his 30s with a serious arm injury. Staff at a nearby care home spotted him stumbling in the street, blood pouring from his wound. Quick-thinking care workers helped stem the bleeding before emergency services arrived.
The victim was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Man Held on Attempted Murder Charge
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody as inquiries continue.
