Man Charged with Murder of Gerard White on Isle of Wight
Police have charged a man over the shocking murder of 73-year-old Gerard Michael White in Lake, Isle of Wight. The grim discovery came after a serious assault was reported on Monday afternoon, May 27.
Brutal Attack in Lake Community Gardens
Officers responded to reports of a man seriously assaulted in Lake Community Gardens, near Scotchells Brook Lane. The victim was later named as Gerard White, a Sandown local known to the community.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Tonight, 60-year-old Jonathan Christopher Stasuik from Pier Street, Sandown, was formally charged with Mr White’s murder. He is set to appear before Newport Magistrates Court on May 30.
The investigation continues as police seek justice for the tragic death on the Isle of Wight.
