Terrifying Attack Outside The Nags Head

A 40-year-old man has been slammed with attempted murder charges following a brutal stabbing outside The Nags Head pub in Kirkby in Ashfield. Tyrone James, who lives on Skegby Road, faces multiple charges including possession of an offensive weapon and assault by beating.

Court Appearance and Custody

James appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 24, where he was remanded into custody. His next court hearing is set for November 21.

Victim in Critical Condition

The stabbing happened just before 1am on Sunday, October 22. A 27-year-old man was rushed to Queen’s Medical Centre with critical injuries after the vicious attack on Station Street. Police say the victim remains in critical but stable condition.
