Swindon Police Crack Down on Shop Theft

PC Paul Bezzant said: “We want local businesses to know we take crime seriously. We’re tough on shoplifters, especially repeat offenders.”

“A small, dedicated team of police and community officers patrol the town centre regularly. Tackling theft and antisocial behaviour is a top priority, with a clear plan in place.”

“We’re also working with Safer Street Wardens to patrol jointly and share intelligence, targeting troublemakers both in the town centre and beyond.”
