Man Charged with Murder of Gosport Woman After House Fire

A man has been charged with the murder of a 27-year-old woman found dead following a fire at her Gosport home.

Firefighters discovered the body of Kelly-Ann Case, from Grange Crescent, Gosport, after a fire broke out at her house on Tuesday, 30 July.

Brendan Rowan-Davies in Custody

Brendan Nicholas Rowan-Davies, 28, of Haslar Road, Gosport, has been charged with her murder. He is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 5 August.

Three Others Arrested but Released

  • A 32-year-old Gosport man was released from custody but remains under investigation.
  • A 26-year-old man with no fixed address and a 28-year-old Gosport man were both released on police bail awaiting further enquiries.

Police continue to investigate the case as the community awaits answers.
