Man Charged with Murder of Bradley Stoke Resident
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 32-year-old Martin Hefferman from Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
Fatal Attack in Honeysuckle Close
The shocking incident occurred at a home on Honeysuckle Close at around 3:20am on Saturday. Emergency services rushed to the scene and tried to save Hefferman, but he was tragically pronounced dead at the location.
Suspect Remanded in Custody
One Llewellyn, from Froomshaw Road, Stapleton, was remanded in custody before appearing at Bristol Magistrates Court. He was further remanded as the investigation continues.
Police Appeal and Ongoing Investigation
Detective Inspector Mark Newbury of the Major Crime Investigation Team offered condolences to Martin’s family and confirmed specially-trained officers will support them throughout the inquiry.
A police cordon remains in place with a heavy police presence as enquiries stretch over several days. DI Newbury thanked local residents for their patience during the investigation.
