Child Sex Fiend Locked Up for 20 Years
Stephen John Head, 56, from Leven in Scotland, faced justice at Sheffield Crown Court. The vile predator pleaded guilty to 26 child sex offences at a hearing on 2 August.
He was slammed with a massive 20 years and 12 weeks behind bars. Plus, Head will spend life on the Sex Offenders Register and is slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Horrific Abuse in Doncaster Exposed
Between the late 1980s and early 1990s, Head preyed on three young victims in Doncaster. Their identities remain confidential for legal reasons.
“All three of the victims in this case were incredibly brave to come forward and report the horrific abuse they suffered at the hands of Stephen Head,” said investigating officer Alexandra Storey.
She added: “Original Investigating Officer Alison Shields is grateful to all of them for the support they have given during the lengthy investigation.”
Justice Served, Victims Urged to Speak Out
“We hope this heavy sentence brings some comfort to the victims as they continue their recovery,” Storey said.
“And we want other victims of historic sexual abuse to gain the confidence to come forward.”
