Salford drug dealer locked up after massive cannabis haul!
A man has been handed a 2 year and 8 month prison sentence after police found a stash of cannabis and other drugs during a raid earlier this year.
Rowell Scott’s drug empire busted in Salford
Rowell Scott, from Clively Avenue, Salford, was sentenced yesterday at Manchester Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to money laundering and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
The raid took place on 15 February following police intelligence. GMP’s Challenger team swooped on Scott’s property and found a massive haul of drugs and cash.
Police uncover huge stash of vapes, cocaine, heroin and cash
Officers discovered around 300 vapes filled with THC, alongside crack cocaine, heroin, and £1,867 in cash. Drug paraphernalia such as scales and bags were also seized.
Scott quickly admitted to having cannabis in a wardrobe and said: “I’ve been caught red-handed.”
Police vow to keep drugs off the streets
PC Anthony McClearn, GMP Salford Challenger team: “Challenger’s work focuses on disrupting criminals who flood our streets with drugs that cause untold harm to communities.
“We carry out regular warrants, gather intelligence, and work closely with partners to keep harmful drugs away from vulnerable people.”
