Investigation Launched, But No Arrests Made
The force opened an inquiry in April after the infant was found lifeless at a home on Chalcombe Avenue. Two people initially helped police with their inquiries, but no arrests followed.
Case Moves Forward Without Criminal Proceedings
On Monday, police stated no criminal proceedings will proceed. Instead, a file has been passed to the coroner to prepare for an upcoming inquest into the baby’s death.
