Man Found Stabbed in Poplar
Last night, chaos unfolded in East London as two men were attacked just minutes apart. At 10.43pm on January 20, emergency crews rushed to Oban Street, Poplar, after reports of a stabbing.
Second Victim Injured with Broken Glass
Police discovered a man in his 30s with a hand injury believed to be caused by broken glass. In a swift move, officers arrested the injured man at the scene.
Another Victim Found on Abbott Road
Not far from Oban Street, a second man, also in his 30s, was located with stab wounds on Abbott Road. The two spots are roughly a seven-minute walk apart. Details remain murky as to why the victims were found in separate locations.
Two Men Stable, Police Probe Continues
Thankfully, neither injury is life-threatening. The Met Police confirmed one arrest has been made and that the investigation is ongoing. A spokesperson said, “A man in his 30s was found injured with broken glass and was apprehended. Another man with stab wounds was found nearby. Both are in stable condition.”
