£1 Million Worth of Cocaine Seized in Kent Police Sting

Kent Police have made a major blow against drug trafficking, seizing £1 million worth of suspected cocaine. The haul, weighing a hefty 10 kilogrammes, was found during a vehicle stop in Chessington, Surrey, on Thursday 30 July 2020.

Targeted Stop Leads to Big Drug Bust

The vehicle stop was part of an ongoing Kent-based investigation into drug supply. On the same day, officers executed a search warrant at an address in Dartford, intensifying the crackdown on the local narcotics trade.

Four Men Arrested and Charged

  • Mark Lazarus, 55, Nightingale Vale, Woolwich
  • Colin Mugalu, 39, Havelock Road, Greenhithe
  • Simon Kambagu, 32, Sun Court, Erith
  • Robbie Dunn, 25, Hilltop Gardens, Dartford

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate has charged all four men with conspiring to supply cocaine. They remain in custody and are scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday 1 September.
