Driver Charged Over Tragic New Milton Pedestrian Death
A man has been charged after a fatal collision in New Milton that claimed the life of an 89-year-old pedestrian.
Fatal Crash Details
The crash happened just after 1pm on January 20 on Station Road. Margaret Fraser, from Waverley Road, was struck by a DAF lorry and sadly died at the scene.
Man Charged with Careless Driving
Police have charged 57-year-old Gary Horbury of Ferndale Road, New Milton, with causing death by careless driving.
Horbury is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on October 13.
