Police Throw Weight Behind Investigation

Local policing lead Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines added: “We will continue to engage with Kurdish community members to address any concerns and keep them updated.”
Tensions Rise in London Kurdish Community
The arrests have sparked protests in London by Kurdish groups and supporters, highlighting the controversy around the PKK’s terror designation in the UK. Police have ramped up patrols to ease tensions and reassure residents across affected areas.
What’s Next?
The six will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today. The investigation remains ongoing with further updates expected. Authorities vow to keep working with communities to stamp out any terror threats linked to the PKK, whose membership carries heavy jail terms under UK law.
