Police are urgently hunting a man who left a 16-year-old boy critically injured in a violent assault in Mabgate, Leeds.

The shocking attack happened on Thursday, February 22, around 11:15pm. The victim and his friends came across a man behaving erratically near the Regent Street underpass when the violence erupted.

  • Age: About 50 years old
  • Height: Approximately 5ft 9in
  • Appearance: White, balding dark hair with a black/grey stubble beard
  • Voice: Deep with a local accent
  • Clothing: Black tracksuit and black beanie hat
