Teen Charged with Murder in Reading Stabbing
Police have charged a 16-year-old boy in connection with a fatal stabbing in Tilehurst, Reading. The teenager, whose name is withheld for legal reasons, faces murder and grievous bodily harm with intent charges.
Tragic Incident in Dulnan Close
The charges relate to a violent attack just before 7pm on Saturday (6/2), when a 26-year-old man died and another man in his forties was injured. The incident took place on Dulnan Close.
Multiple Arrests Made
- A 21-year-old man from Reading was arrested this afternoon (9/2) and is the eighth suspect held over the murder. He remains in custody.
- Two 25-year-olds and a 22-year-old previously arrested have been freed on police bail.
- Three more suspects—a 16-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 23-year-old—are still in custody.
Legal Proceedings Underway
The charged 16-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (10/2).
