Police crash unlicensed rave in Milton Keynes and make arrests
Illegal rave shut down in Bow Brickhill
At around 12.40am on 19th May, officers swooped on an illegal, unlicensed music event off Church Road, Bow Brickhill, Milton Keynes. Cops quickly moved in to stop disorder and keep revellers safe.
Two arrested over drug driving amid equipment seizure
The party was promptly shut down with all equipment seized. Two youngsters were hauled in – an 18-year-old man from Suffolk and a 19-year-old woman from Bedfordshire, both suspected of drug driving and now in custody.
Police vow crackdown on dangerous rave culture
“Illegal unlicensed music events are dangerous and there can be little regard for public safety. It is very early in the season, but the response to this event shows that we will continue to deal with reports of such events robustly,” said Superintendent Tim Metcalfe.
Public urged to report raves to stop crime
Superintendent Metcalfe urged anyone aware of illegal music events or planned raves to report them online or call 101. He stressed that in an emergency – such as crimes in progress or serious injury risk – 999 should be dialled immediately.
He added: “I would like to thank members of the public who called to inform us of this event and would also like to thank the local community for their support and patience.”
