Two Arrested After Brutal Southampton Attack Leaves Man Fighting for His Face
Police swooped following a vicious assault at the junction of Meggeson Avenue and Ozier Road, Southampton. The attack happened around 9.10pm on Friday, November 11.
A 29-year-old victim suffered multiple facial fractures and is currently being treated in hospital.
Targeted Attack Sparks Police Hunt
Detective Sergeant Dal Andrews said: “This appears to be a targeted attack.” Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Two Men on Motorcycles May Hold Key Clues
Police are keen to identify two motorcyclists spotted near the scene at the time, believing they might have vital information.
Two Arrested, Both on Bail
A 25-year-old and a 24-year-old man have been arrested and bailed, pending further enquiries. They are due to report back to police in 2017.
