County Lines Drug Gang Busted in Ashford and London Raids
Police cracked down on county lines drug dealing with dawn raids in south-west London on Wednesday, 2 February 2022. The operation targeted suspects moving heroin and crack cocaine between London and Ashford.
Three Arrested as Police Hit Key Addresses
- Two men were arrested at London homes.
- A third suspect was nabbed shortly after in Ashford.
The men caught up in the sweep are Kevin McDonald, 35, from Enterprise Way, Wandsworth, and Aarron Conway, 47, from Newtown Green, Ashford. Both face charges of being involved in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
Legal Drama Unfolds: Court Dates Set
McDonald appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 3 February and was remanded in custody. He is due at Canterbury Crown Court on 7 March.
Conway has been granted bail and is set to appear at maidstone-magistrates-court/" title="Maidstone Magistrates' Court" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Magistrates’ Court the same day.
A 29-year-old man arrested in Wandsworth has been released under investigation as police continue their inquiries.
