Young Man Fatally Attacked in Wolverhampton Car Park

Tragedy struck Wolverhampton late Tuesday when 26-year-old Navpreet Singh was violently attacked in a Dudley Road car park. Emergency services found him seriously injured and rushed him to hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after 1.30am on Wednesday, 22 October.

Three Men Arrested in Connection with Murder

West Midlands Police revealed Navpreet was assaulted by a group at around 11.30pm. Since then, three men have been arrested:

  • A 20-year-old man detained this morning and held in custody.
  • Two others, aged 23 and 34, previously arrested and now released on bail pending further investigation.

Police Boost Patrols as Investigation Continues

The police cordon around the crime scene has been lifted after extensive inquiries. Officers will keep a strong presence in the area to calm the community’s nerves.
