Woman Arrested After Shocking Dog Attack in Grantham
A 39-year-old woman has been arrested following a brutal dog attack on Muston Road, Grantham, yesterday evening just before 6.10pm. The incident saw one dog viciously attack another, leaving the second dog’s owner injured.
Owner Injured but Condition Not Life-Threatening
Police rushed to the scene after reports of one dog attacking another. The victim, owner of the second dog, suffered injuries to both hands and was taken to hospital. Thankfully, her wounds are not life-threatening.
Suspect Held as Investigation Continues
The suspect, a Grantham local, was arrested at a nearby property. She is believed to have been responsible for controlling the dog that went dangerously out of control. She remains in police custody as inquiries press on.
Breed Tests and Appeals for Witnesses Ongoing
Authorities are currently testing to identify the dog’s breed. The animal remains seized as part of a thorough investigation.
