Woman Charged with Murder After Man Found Dead in London Flat
Tragic Death in Cricklewood
A man was found dead at a Westcroft Close home in Cricklewood, London, sparking a murder investigation. Police were called just after 8am on Friday, September 8, 2023, following an emergency alert from the London Ambulance Service reporting a critically injured man.
Despite efforts at the scene, the man was pronounced dead. A post-mortem the next day confirmed the cause of death as shock and haemorrhaging.
Woman Arrested and Charged
Marie Nellie, 44, a neighbour from Westcroft Close, was arrested at the scene. She has now been charged with murder and is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 11.
Police confirmed Nellie knew the victim, but insist no other suspects are being sought in connection with this tragic incident.
