Woman Jailed for Over 15 Years in Steven Davies Manslaughter Case

A 35-year-old woman has been handed a hefty 15-and-a-half-year prison sentence after admitting manslaughter over the death of Steven Davies.

Neighbour’s Worried Call Leads to Grim Discovery

On June 15 last year, a neighbour of 39-year-old Steven raised the alarm with South Wales Police, worried about his safety. Police rushed to the property where Steven’s body was found.

Family Left Devastated

“This has been a very long and sad investigation for the Davies family,” said Detective Inspector Lianne Rees of South Wales Police Major Crime Unit. “My heartfelt condolences are with them.”

“While I understand that today’s decision will not bring Steven back, I hope it will provide some closure and allow them to move on with their lives.”
