Speedster Jagjit Singh Banned and Fined for Dodging Speeding Tickets
A Worcestershire motorist has landed a six-month driving ban and a £1,150 fine after trying to wiggle out of three speeding offences using a dodgy ‘NIP farm’ scam.
Jagjit Singh, 23, faces the harsh penalty after Worcester Magistrates Court cracked down on his cheating tactics last December. The speeding offences happened across Worcestershire last year.
Inside the ‘NIP Farm’ Scam
Singh, from 460 Cannock Road, Wolverhampton, tried to dodge his speeding fines by sending his Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) to an illegal ‘NIP farm’. This shady setup uses fake names and forwards tickets to false addresses to hide the real driver.
He also used two other people’s driving licences to cover his tracks and avoid getting caught behind the wheel during his speeding offences.
Failing to Name the Driver Backfires Big Time
West Mercia Police reveal Singh was legally bound to provide accurate driver details. His refusal to cooperate, combined with the fraudulent NIP farm scheme, landed him with a driving ban and a hefty fine.
“Attempting to dodge the law with such schemes will not be tolerated,” a police spokesperson warned.
