Man Found with Serious Injuries After Late-Night Fight in Margate
Violent Incident Rocks Gravel Walk
Just before midnight on Sunday 14 July 2024, police discovered a man with severe facial injuries in Gravel Walk. The victim was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
Fight Erupts Near High Street
Further investigation revealed a violent brawl took place between 10pm and 11pm on the High Street, close to the Guildhall Street junction. The clash is believed to be linked to the man’s injuries.
Police Release Crucial CCTV Images
Officers have published CCTV pictures of two men who may hold key information about the incident. Detective PC Victoria Minter urged the public:
“We appreciate the image is not of the best quality, but we hope it might jog someone’s memory.”
Police also believe a man and woman in their 40s witnessed the fight and have yet to come forward.
