Man Attacked with Stick in Racist Assault on Union Street
Just before midnight on Saturday, 1 April 2023, a man was allegedly struck on the head with a stick in Union Street. The attacker reportedly hurled racist abuse at the victim throughout the brutal incident.
Maidstone Man Arrested Over Racist Assault
On Thursday, 27 April, police arrested a 33-year-old man from Maidstone on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail and is due to return to the station on 25 July as investigations continue.
